About Our Property

Finger Lakes living doesn't get any better than this.

Come and relax in our lakefront cottage.  Get up early, and listen to the chirps, squawks, and quacks of the lakeside denizens waking up.  Sleep late, and emerge when the sun has had a chance to warm the grass. Watch a summer squall blow across the lake toward you, and then pass, leaving everything fresh and clean.  Enjoy the sunset across the water, and marvel at the stars overhead as dusk falls.  Let the sound of the water against the rocks and the frogs in the back pond lull you to sleep at night.

Our family has lived in the Ithaca area since 1800.  Our lake cottage has been in our family since 1935.  The house is modest, but
the location is amazing!  An easy drive to Ithaca, it sits on 1.4 acres of flat ground (no long staircases to reach the water!) at the tip of the largest point on Cayuga Lake, surrounded by water on almost all sides.  Our property boasts 600 feet of lake frontage, with views to the north, west, and south.  It is private, but within walkable distance to Myers Park, where water toys like kayaks and SUPs can be rented.  Birds love it here, and from the kitchen window you may see turtles sunning on a log, the ospreys that live nearby diving for fish, a beaver patrolling the shoreline, or deer wandering through in the evening to drink from the lake.

We love it here, and hope that you do too.
