About The Cottage

 

The cottage is a single-level, ranch style, fully insulated house that provides three bedrooms, and 1.5 bathrooms for your visit.  The bathrooms are small and modest, representative of the architecture when it was built, but recently updated, clean and functional.  With everything else to do and see, who wants to spend a lot of time in the bathroom anyway!?!  

 

Sleeping arrangements are available for 7 guests.  Bedroom 1 contains an Eastern King bed.  Bedroom 2 contains one Queen bed.  Bedroom 3 contains two beds (1 Queen, 1 Twin). 

 

The living room has several comfortable couches for curling up with a good book or a game on a rainy day.   Flat screen TV with basic cable.  Wifi internet access provided.  Other amenities include the kitchen, with a standard oven and range, and plenty of pots, pans, and utensils for cooking.  A kitchen island with several barstools provides a place to sit and chat while preparing a meal.  Two full-sized refrigerators are available - one in the kitchen for food, and a second refrigerator in the utility room for additonal storage or beverages.  A small wine refrigerator provides a place to store your the treasures found when stopping at the area wineries!  The kitchen table seats up to 8.  The kitchen and living room both have large windows with expansive lake views.  An outdoor gas barbecue is available on the deck for grilling.  

 

In the warmer months, the outdoor dining table on the deck seats 8; a second outdoor table that seats 4 is located on the back patio.  Two adirondack chairs made from recycled wine barrels and two loungers provide a place to relax on the deck, looking out at the lake.  Dining al fresco, with the views across the lake, is an opportunity not to be missed!

 

A washer and dryer are available for guest use.  All bed linens and bathroom towels are provided for indoor use only.  Please bring beach towels with you for outdoor use.
